Wan Zhijun

Wan Zhijun, Male, Doctoral Degree holder, Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, graduated from CUMT in 1994, majoring in Mining Engineering, and obtained the doctoral degree of engineering in 2007. He gives lectures to both undergraduates and graduates, and he teaches such courses as Mining Science, Mining Science and Technology, etc. Moreover, he is engaged in the researches on mining pressure and strata control, mining methods, mine geothermy and heat damage prevention and treatment, etc.

At present, he presides over 1 NSFC project and 1 New Century Excellent Talents Program in University supported by Education Ministry, participates in 1 National High-tech R&D Program (“863” Program); he has carried out 1 key NSFC project, participated in and completed 3 “Project 211” programs of CUMT. In addition, he has presided over 1 national and 1 provincial Teaching Research and Reform programs, published over 70 papers in technical journals at home and abroad, for example, Chinese Journal of Rock Mechanic and Engineering, etc. and in national and international academic conferences. His 3 papers have been included in SCI, 36 papers in EI. Moreover, he has obtained 3 invention patents, published 2 monographs and 3 textbooks, and won 1 second prize of National Prize for Progress in Science and Technology, 3 second prizes and 3 third prizes of provincial award for progress in science and technology.

 

 

 

Ma Liqiang

Ma Liqiang (1979-), Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, excellent-young-backbone teacher of CUMT, the middle-aged and young academic leader of “Qinglan Project” in Jiangsu Province, has been selected into “New Century Excellent Talents in University” supported by Education Ministry.

He obtained the Master’s Degree In 2004 and the Doctoral Degree of engineering in 2007.

He is mainly engaged in the scientific research and teaching work on mining methods, mining pressure and strata control, water-preserved mining/green mining, and the exploitation of difficult mining coal seam. In addition, he presided over and participated in 5 national scientific research programs including NSFC projects and National High-tech R& D Programs (863 Program), etc., 6 provincial scientific research programs, and more than 30 joint research programs with enterprises.

His research achievements have resulted in 1 second prize of National Prize for Progress in Science and Technology, 8 provincial awards for progress in science and technology. Moreover, he has applied for 16 National Invention Patents (ranking first), published 3 monographs, acted as the chief editor of 2 textbooks, edited 1 experimental textbook and The Handbook of Chief Coal Mine Engineers, and published over 60 academic papers, and his 20 papers have been included in SCI / EI. At present, he is in charge of NSFC project and New Century Excellent Talents Program of the University supported by Ministry of Education, etc. As the backbone researcher, he is now participating in “863” program and “211” construction project, etc.

 

 

 

Fang Xinqiu

Fang Xinqiu, male, born in August, 1974, Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, graduated in 1996 from CUMT majoring in Mining Engineering, and obtained Master’s Degree in 1999, Doctoral Degree in 2002, and Post-doctoral Degree of control engineering from Southeast University in 2004. Now, he is the Deputy Director of CUMT Key Laboratory for Deep Coal Resources Mining of Education Ministry, the member of China Coal Society and Chinese Society of Inertial Technology, and the council member of Nanjing Society of Inertial Technology.

Recently, guided by the concept of “Scientific Mining”, he is mainly engaged in scientific research and teaching work as follows: (1) mining pressure and strata control (including coalface mining pressure and its control, control of tunnel surrounding rock); (2) Mining safely and efficiently (including mining thin coal seam, unmanned and intelligent mining, and simultaneous extraction of coal and gas); (3) intelligent monitoring exploration (instrument design, software development, system integration and application based on FBG sensing technique) , etc.

Recently, he has presided over 1 NSFC project and 1 program supported by Jiangsu Postdoctoral Sustentation Fund. As the main researcher, he participated in one “863” Program; and presided over more than 30 enterprise-authorized programs. In addition, he has published over 30 papers in core journals at home and abroad and international academic conferences, in which 13 have been included in EI or SCI, and 2 in ISTP. Moreover, he has published 1 teaching paper and has applied for 26 National Invention Patents and 5 licensing patents; and has obtained 11 National Utility Model Patents. His research achievements have resulted in 2 second prizes and 5 third prizes of provincial awards for progress in science and technology, and 1 school-level award for progress in science and technology. Wang Zuotang

Wang Zuotang (1958.8-), Male, Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, graduated in 1982, and obtained Master’s Degree in 1986 , Doctoral Degree in 1992. Over the past 20 years, he was mainly engaged in the scientific research and teaching work on mine strata control and theory and technique of underground gasification mining. Especially, from January 1999 to February 2000, when he was the visiting scholar in Technical University of Munich and RWTH Aachen University (Germany), he studied European and American new techniques of underground gasification; from September to October 2001 when visiting Japan Coal Energy Center, he studied the feasibility of underground gasification in closed mines; from October 2003 to February 2005, when he was a visiting scholar for post-doctoral research in Department of Chemical Engineering, University of Queensland (Australia), he studied methanation of underground gasification and the basic theory and new technique of CO2 Geological storage. In addition, he has participated in programs on basic theory and technology development of The Eleventh Five-year Plan of Ministry of Education, “211 Project”, “Key Laboratory Construction Projects on Underground Gasification and Poly-Generation of Stranded Coals”, and so on. His research achievements have obtained 2 second prizes and 3 third prizes of provincial awards for progress in science and technology, 4 national patents. Moreover, he has published 1 monograph, has edited 3 textbooks, has published over 20 papers in journals and academic conferences at home and abroad and his 4 papers has been included in EI, 6 papers in ISTP.

Main research directions: 1. New theories and techniques of green mining on coal underground gasification; 2. the strata control theory and technology on strip-filling-gasification mining of stranded coals based on mining underwater body; 3. Research on measurement and control technology of coal underground gasification process; 4. Research on technical equipment of coal underground gasification engineering; 5. economic research on coal underground gasification technology; 6. Feng Guangming

Feng Guangming, Male, Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, is engaged in new mining technology, the research, development and engineering application on new materials, and teaching such as quick excavation and support of various tunnels and chambers, restoration and government of metamorphous and damaged tunnels and chambers, R&D of high-water rapid-solidifying materials, and research and application on gob-side entry retaining technology in different geological conditions of surrounding rock, development and application of groundwater plugging materials, research and application on filling technology in goaves of ultra-high water filling materials, etc.

As for teaching, he gives lectures on Mining Science, Mine Pressure and Roof Control, Non-Coal Mining Technology, Introduction to Mining, Reading and Writing of English Scientific Literature, etc.

He has won 1 National Scientific Or Technical Award of tackling a critical point, 1 first prize of Chinese Colleges and Universities of Science and Technology, 2 first prizes of CNCA science and technology progress; and has got 5 national patents. What’s more, he has published over 30 papers in journals and academic conferences at home and abroad and 1 monograph, and edited 1 bilingual textbook GENERAL INTRODUCTION TO COAL MINING

 

 

 

Liu Changyou

Liu Changyou: Male, Doctoral Degree, Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, born in February, 1965, graduated in 1986.

He obtained Master’s Degree in 1989 and Doctoral Degree in 1997. Now, he is the curator of CUMT museum, council member of Jiangsu Coal Society, secretary-general of mining committee of China Coal Society, member of expert group of national coal mine safety, editorial board member of Mine Pressure and Roof Control, one of Chinese core periodicals. Professor Liu Changyou is engaged in research works on mine pressure and roof control, rock mechanics, high-yield and high-efficient mining and monitoring and controlling technology, etc. for a long time. In addition, he first put forwards and studied the relationship of supports, surrounding rocks and immediate roof stability, which regards immediate roofs of stope as deformable media, and established overall mechanical model of supports of fully-mechanized sublevel caving face and surrounding rocks based on above studies. Then, he initially formed the high-yield and high-efficient mining theories and technology systems of “evaluation and optimization of mining area—selection of equipment types—technique design—strata control—monitor and safeguard”, established monitoring and controlling systems and complete sets of technology of high-yield and high-efficient mining supports and surrounding rocks, initially founded lumpiness theory on top coal falling and recycling of high-yield and high-efficient mining of caving coals, formed related techniques and control technology of improving top coal recycling rate and the evaluation system of mining of thick seam caving coal in complicated geological conditions. Moreover, he undertook and carried out over 40 researches including key NSFC programs, key Coal Science Fund programs of former Coal Ministry, NSFC programs and doctoral Special Fund programs of Ministry of Education and key enterprise programs. Furthermore, he has obtained 1 second prize and 6 third prizes of provincial science and technology progress and published more than 50 papers in international conferences and journals such as Journal Of China Coal Society, Journal of China University of Mining & Technology, Chinese Journal of Rock Mechanic and Engineering, etc. in which over 10 papers are included in EI. He has published 2 monographs such as The Support and Surrounding Rock Relationship in Stope and Its Monitoring And Controlling, and edited 2 textbooks.

Xu Jialin, Male, Doctoral Degree holder, Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, was born in October, 1966.

Zhang Yidong

Zhang Yidong, male, born in September, 1964, professor, is now the deputy director of National Key Laboratory of Coal Resource and Safety Mining. He is mainly engaged in scientific researches and teaching work on mining engineering, mine pressure and its control, control of working faces and tunnel surrounding rocks, bolt supporting, and so on.

He has presided over and participated in the Ninth Five-Year Plan subprojects with former Coal Ministry, the topic project of “863 Program”—Key Technology and Equipment of Thin-Strata Mining, and 10 or so enterprise authorized research programs. Zhang Nong

Zhang Nong, male, was born in December, 1968. Now he is Doctor of CUMT, professor, Doctoral Supervisor, innovation team leader of Development Program for Chang Jiang Scholars and Innovative Research Team in Universities under the leadership of Ministry of Education. Since he graduated from CUMT in 1992 obtaining master’s degree of Mining Engineering, he has worked in CUMT up to now. He was the former deputy director of National Key Laboratory of Coal Resources and Safety Mining, and now is the vice dean of School of Mines, CUMT in charge of scientific researches and director of National Key Laboratory of Coal Resources and Safety Mining. Coal mine roadway support and roof control is the key technology of safe and high-efficient coal mining in our country, Professor Zhang Nong is dedicated to studies of this area and has undertaken projects of Development Plan of National Key Basic Researches (“973 Plan”), over 10 NSFC projects and nearly 100 joint key programs with enterprises. What’s more, he further studied the problems of the large deformation of soft coal roadway surrounding rock and the control of structural stability under strong-stress mining in highland, and the relationship of “Mining (dig) stress field evolution of surrounding rock of roadway—deformation and fracture process of mining rocks—interaction between supporting and wall rock”. In addition, he has obtained theoretical achievements on anchoring instability of bedded roof in coal roadway mechanism and overall control countermeasure of wedges, stress evolution regionalization around mining areas and strata movement features, structural stability analysis of surrounding rocks anchoring in mining influenced roadway and surrounding-rock control of gob-side entry retaining, and slip casting consolidation laws of mining-induced fracture rocks, etc. Furthermore, he has achieved innovations on active high-strength pre-stress support technology of high-performance bolts, pre-stretch force trusses of steel strand, etc. and hysteretic grouting reinforcement techniques; has put forwards “Three Forming An Organic Whole” overall control technology of deep-mine entry retaining; has made practical breakthrough on coal roadway bolt support in complicated conditions, drilling methods of deep-mine entry retaining, coal and gas simultaneous mining engineering, which provide a series of new high-efficient support technologies of “roof is safe, structure is stable, deformation is controllable” in complicated coal roadway conditions, and provide reliable underground special guarantee for high-efficient mechanism of coal mining and coal and gas simultaneous mining. He has won 2 second prizes of national award for science and technology progress, published over 100 papers at home and abroad, in which 46 papers can be retrieved in SCI and EI, published 2 monographs, and has obtained 39 national licensing patents. So far, he has cultivated 6 doctors and 40 masters.

 

 

 

Zhang Dongsheng

Zhang Dongsheng, male, was born in March, 1967. Now he is professor and Doctoral Supervisor of CUMT, winner of national special government allowance, one of “New Century Excellent Talents” of Ministry of Education, and key backbone researcher of National Key Laboratory;he is also the responsible person of the construction of national featured major—Mining Engineer supported by Ministry of Education; council member of Chinese Journal of Rock Mechanics and Engineering, Senior Member of China Coal Society, member of Jiangsu Systems Engineering Society and editorial board member of Journal of Mining and Safety Engineering. He is mainly engaged in scientific researches and teaching work on mine strata control and high-field and high-efficient mining technology, etc. In addition, he presided over and participated in 6 national programs including NEFC projects, key NEFC projects, national scientific and technological innovation programs and New Century Excellent Talents” programs supported by Education Ministry; and over 50 joint key programs with enterprises. What’s more, his research achievements have brought himself 1 second prize of national awards for science and technology progress, 4 first prizes, 6 second prizes and 5 third prizes of provincial science and technology progress. Zhang Jixiong, male, Doctoral Degree holder, Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, was born in July 1974. He has been selected into “New Century Excellent Talents” supported by Ministry of Education in 2011, and is mainly engaged in scientific researches and teaching work on solid-filling mining and strata control.

Professor Zhang Jixiong has won 1 second prize of National Award for Technology Innovation, 4 first prizes of provincial level, 15 national licensing innovation patents, and 10 authorized patents of utility model, published 2 academic monographs and over 50 academic papers, in which 20 papers are included in SCI and EI. Li Xuehua

Li Xuehua (born in 1972), male, from September 1990 to July 2000, he got his bachelor’s degree, master’s degree and doctoral degree of mining engineering from CUMT, and then worked here up to now. He is professor, doctoral supervisor, academic leader of CUMT young teachers and one of “New Century Excellent Talents” supported by Ministry of Education (2009), member of China Coal Society. Now he is the vice dean of School of Mines, CUMT in charge of administration. He is mainly engaged in scientific researches and teaching work on coal mining, and has insisted on going to the on-site mine to study and solve technology problems of coal mining and supporting for a long time. What’s more, he has obtained certain achievements on surrounding-rock control theory and technology of gob-side entry driving with fully mechanized caving, high-stress roadway stress control theory and technology, and green coal mining, etc. He has obtained 12 provincial awards for science and technology progress, published over 30 papers in domestic core journals and international conferences, published 1 monograph, written 1 textbook (second writer), and has got 1 innovation patent and 5 patents of utility model.

Du Jiping

Du Jiping, male, was born in February 1956. He is the professor of department of mining engineering, School of Mines, CUMT with the doctoral degree of engineering. He was admitted to department of mining engineering of Shanxi College of Mining & Technology in 1987, went to CUMT to study for the master’s degree in 1984 and has worked in CUMT since 1987, and studied for a doctoral degree in CUMT in 1996. He is mainly engaged in teaching main courses of mining engineering such as Mining Science, Special Coal Mining Methods, etc. and scientific researches on underground coal mining, mining technology of deep coal mine, and mining technology in special and difficult conditions. What’s more, he has presided over and participated in several project research such as surrounding-rock controlling of backstopping roadway in deep mine, surrounding-rock controlling of development roadway in deep mine, roadway distribution and mining deployment in deep mine, stripping mining in counties and villages, mining under reservoirs, mining in difficult-to-fall limestone roofs condition, waste-filling mining under mines, coal strata mining at deep dip angles, etc.

Lu Caiping

Lu Caiping, doctor and professor, was born in November, 1978. He is the academic leader of CUMT young teachers, mainly engaged scientific researche and teaching work in mine pressure and prevention and treatment of rock burst. His doctoral paper has gained the honor of “National Excellent 100 Doctoral Dissertations in 2010” and he has been elected into “New Century Excellent Talents” projects supported by Ministry of Education. In previous 5 years, he has published over 50 papers, in which 23 papers written by him as the first author have been published in core journals Int J Rock Mech Min Sci, J. Appl. Zhou Huaqiang

Zhou Huaqiang, professor, doctoral degree, doctoral supervisor, head of the Mining Research Institute, leader of the Discipline of Filling Mining, graduated from department of mining, Chongqing University in 1983. From 1995 to 1996, as a visiting scholar, he studied in University sponsored by Chinese government and got the doctoral degree of mining engineering from CUMT in 2000.

Main achievement: He mainly participated in and completed the designs of a series of roadway metal supports in Chinese coal mines, invented ZKD-type high-water rapid-hardening materials, put forwards theory of the limitation and stabilization of roadway supports, invented PL series and SL series of paste filling cementing materials, and opened a new direction for solid waste paste filling in none-village-relocation mining. He has obtained 4 national patents and 4 National Prizes for

Progress in Science and Technology

Research Directions: solid waste paste filling technology; filling and injecting paste material; mining under water body , building and rail, and on karst water body (namely, “Three Unders and One On”); soft rock support; and reinforcing and water plugging surrounding rocks by slip casting.

 

 

 

Bai Jianbiao

Bai Jianbiao, professor, doctoral supervisor, has gained the honor of National Excellent Doctoral Dissertation. He is one of New Century Excellent Talents of Education ministry, the chief expert of mining methods and technology training in laneway which is one of the 653 Programs in Coal Industry supported by national Ministry of Personnel, the member of coal mining expert committee of CICT, and the expert of coal mine supporting committee of CICT. He mainly researches on: 1) surrounding-rock controlling theory and supporting technology of deep, dynamic roadways with soft rocks and gob-side entry retaining; 2) filling mining materials, systems, techniques, and laws, controlling theory and technology research of overburden strata movement. Xu Jinhai

Xu Jinhai, professor, doctoral degree, was born in November, 1963.

Main Experiences:

In July, 1986, he obtained diploma’s degree from mining engineering, CUMT and then has taught in CUMT ever since. He obtained master’s degree of Mining Engineering from CUMT in July, 1996 and doctoral degree of Engineering Mechanics from CUMT in July, 2004. In addition, he has been the professor of mining department ,School of Mines, CUMT, , and responsible person of mining engineering (application type). He is mainly engaged in researches on mining engineering theory and application, and interdisciplinary researches on combining Mining Engineering and modern Engineering Mechanics theory. He has published over 30 papers in academic conferences and journals at home and abroad, 10 of them are published in core journals, 5 papers can be retrieved by EI, 2 papers by ISTP. Furthermore, he presided over 1 national technology innovation program, 1 international cooperation program, several key programs of NSFC, and 1 NSFC program. Gao Mingshi

Gao Mingshi, male, professor, (post) doctoral degree, doctoral supervisor, was born in February 1970. His main research directions are roadway surrounding-rock controlling and prevention and treatment of rock burst disaster in deep mining condition.

He got diploma’s degree of mining engineering from CUMT in July, 1992, and then he was engaged in work on production technology, design and safety management in coal mines. In 2001 he was admitted to CUMT and became a postgraduate of mining engineering and studied the doctoral courses in advance in 2003, then stayed in CUMT to teach. In 2006, he got the doctoral degree.

From June, 2009 to August, 2011, he implemented joint researches on post-doctoral projects in mechanics moving station of CUMT and post-doctoral workstation of Yongmei Group.

Professor Gao Mingshi is mainly engaged in researches and teaching work on mine pressure and its control in coal mining, and insists on going to the coal mines to study and solve technology of mining and support. In addition, he has presided over key science and technology programs of Ministry of Education and 40 enterprise-authorized projects including Yongmei Group, Xishan Coal and Electricity Group, Pingdingshan Group, Huainan Group and Huaibei group, etc. and has obtained certain achievements on surrounding-rock controlling theory and technology in roadway, disaster prevention and treatment of deep mining rock burst, coal and gas simultaneous mining, etc. What’s more, his research achievements have brought himself 2 Special-class awards of China National Coal Association, 2 first prizes, 1 second prize and 2 third prizes of provincial award for science and technology progress; has published over 40 academic papers and I monograph; has got 3 national patents of utility model and 1 innovation patent.

Tu Shihao

Tu Shihao, doctoral degree holder, professor, doctoral supervisor, was born in November, 1963. He is now the Dean of School of Mines, CUMT, director of the national experimental teaching demonstration centre of mining engineering, chief expert of “863 Program” key technology and equipment of thin-layer mining (2012AA062100), member of coal mine exploration expert group of Coal Industry Committee Of Technology, and senior member of China Coal Society. He is mainly engaged in scientific researches and teaching works on mining methods and techniques, safe and high-efficient mining technology of coal strata in complicated geological conditions, mine pressure and strata control, and Mining Systems Engineering, etc. What’s more, as the first author, he has published over 40 papers in journals and academic conferences at home and aboard, in which over 10 papers can be retrieved in SCI, EI and ISIP, etc; has published several monographs, such as, Theory and Practice of Long Wall Comprehensive Mechanization Mining System Analysis, Theory and Practice of High Cut in Fully Mechanized Coal Mining of Thick Coal Seam, etc. Moreover, he has presided over and participated in including key programs of “863 Programs”, key national science and technology programs, and over 40 joint key programs with enterprises. His research achievements have brought himself 1 second prize of National Award for Progress in Science and Technology, 1 second prize of national teaching achievement, 1 second prize of national science and technology progress of safe production, 3 second prizes of science and technology progress of China National Coal Association, etc.

 

 

 

Cao Shenggen

Can Shenggen, professor, doctoral supervisor, doctoral degree of engineer, was born in July, 1968. He is the executive chief editor of Journal of Mining and Safety Engineering, standing assistant station master of Central Information Station of Mine Pressure in Coal Industry, member of professional information committee of China Coal Society, and academic leader of CUMT young teachers. He was admitted in CUMT in 1985 and stayed in CUMT to teach after obtaining master’s degree in 1992; he is mainly engaged in scientific researches on mine pressure and strata control. What’s more, he has presided over or participated in over 20 scientific research projects and has published over 30 academic papers as the first author. He has won many awards for progress in science and technology including the first prize of natural science of Education Ministry, the second prize of Shanxi Science and Technology Progress Award, and Henan Science and Technology Progress Award. Furthermore, he has published Research on Relations between Supports and Surrounding Rocks in Mining Area and Its Monitor (the monograph); has given graduate and postgraduate lectures on Introduction to Mining, General Theory of Mining, similar theories and simulated experiments, testing technology of mine pressure, roof control and monitoring technology in mining area, mine pressure and strata control, etc.

 

 

 

Xie Yaoshe

Xie Yaoshe, male, mining engineering doctor of CUMT, was born in 1970. He is now the professor of School of Mines, CUMT and is mainly engaged in scientific researches and teaching works on mining engineering, rock burst, dust pollution control and digital mines, etc.

In terms of teaching, he gives lectures on Introduction to Mining, Reading and Writing On English Scientific Literature, Basis of Computer Software Technology, Rock Mass Mechanics in Mines, C Language Programming, etc. In terms of scientific research, he, as the main researcher, has participated in 3 key NSFC projects, 1 National Science-technology Support Plan Project, and over 10 joint projects with enterprises. Over the years, he has won 1 second prize of Shanxi science and technology progress award, 1 second prize of science and technology progress award of Ministry of Coal Industry, and 2 second prizes of national science and technology achievements award in safe production. What’s more, he has got 1 national innovation patent, 1 patent of utility model, and has published over 10 papers in Journals and conferences at home and abroad.

Xie Wenbing

Xie Wenbing, male, post-doctor, professor, doctoral supervisor, was born in February, 1965. He is now mainly engaged in scientific researches and teaching works on surrounding-rock control in roadway, geotechnical engineering, and numerical mechanics analysis of mining engineering, mining damages and its control. In addition, he has implemented plenty of researches on supports in roadway of high stress soft rock, has deeply studied anchor reinforcement mechanism and a series technology of reinforcement in high stress soft rock roadway, support mechanism and technology of high anchoring force bolt-net with large pre-stress and fast increasing resistance; has further studied surrounding rock stability and control technology of roadway influenced by overhead mining at short range; has researched on new coupling support mechanism with high and strong safe stability in terms of roadway surrounding rocks control with soft rocks deformation in deep mine, and has developed the related coupling support technology, which successfully solves many supporting technology problems in high stress roadway with soft rocks.

He has undertaken and completed over 30 project including key NSFC projects, national science and technology innovation projects and key enterprise projects, etc. and “985” high performance numerical simulated platform construction project. Furthermore, he has won 1 second prize of National Award for Progress in Science and Technology, 3 second prizes and 4 third prize of provincial award for progress in science and technology; has published over 40 papers in journals including Chinese Journal of Rock Mechanic and Engineering, Journal of China Coal Society, Journal of China University of Mining & Technology, Journal of Central South University, etc. and international conferences, in which 9 papers can be retrieved in EI. According to numerous practical problems of geotechnical engineering and mining engineering, he has carried out numerical mechanics analysis and has written Numerical Mechanics Research and Analysis of Mining Engineering; has got 8 national new practical patents.

 

 

 

Dou Linming

Dou Linming, male, professor, doctoral degree, doctoral supervisor, was born in 1963. He is the doctor of Silesian University of Technology (Poland) , the academic pacesetter of “Mining Engineering”—national key discipline; member of the fourth professional committee of ISM International Association of Geodesy, member of international mining professor group; the winner of national special government allowance (2004), honored miner and honored technical adviser for rescue of “JAS-MOS” Mine, Poland, honored miner of “Sobieski Jaworzno III” Mine, Poland; deputy director of editorial board of the magazine--Coal Mining, member of editorial board of Journal of China University of Mining & Technology, Journal of Mining and Safety Engineering.

He has presided over and participated in 20 projects including key science and technology projects of national “Ninth Five-Year Plan”, “Tenth Five-Year Plan”, “Eleventh Five-Year Plan” “12th Five-Year Plan”, “973 national science and technology support projects, key NSFC projects, national post-doctoral fund projects, CUMT “211 Program” projects, construction program of “985 innovative platform of preponderant disciplines” and Poland Scientific Fund Programs, and over 40 cooperative projects with enterprises. What’s more, his research achievements have won 1 second prize of National Award for Progress in Science and Technology, 1 Mining Award of Polish Economy Ministry (Sword of Honor), and 14 provincial second and first prizes. In addition, the doctor’s dissertation supervised by him has selected to the National Top 100 Excellent Doctoral Dissertation; he has published 8 monographs and over 170 papers, in which 3 papers are included in SCI, 67 papers in EI, 20 papers in ISIP, and has got 1 patent.

Mou Zonglong

Mou Zonglong, male, born in June, 1979, whose major is mining engineering, graduated from CUMT in 2002. To get the master’s degree, 2003, he studied in CUMT from September, 2002 to February, and he studied in Bochum University of Technology, Germany from March, 2003 to February, 2004. In July, 2007, he got the doctoral degree of mining engineering from CUMT. He is mainly engaged in scientific researches and teaching works on mine pressure, rock burst, Mining Geophysics and roof controlling and monitoring in mining area, etc.

Recently, he has published over 20 academic papers, has obtained new patents of utility model, and has won 4 provincial awards. What’s more, he has put forwards “steady-state induction mechanism” and “dynamic induction mechanism” theories of roof stratum inducing rock burst. At present, he has presided over CUMT science and technology funds for young teachers, 1 special fund of national key laboratory on coal source and safe mining, and 3 enterprise research projects; has participated in several NSFC projects, “11th Plan” science and technology support plans and cooperative science and technology programs with enterprises; has participated in academic conferences on mining engineering for many times.

Huang Bingxiang

Huang Bingxiang, male, associate professor, doctoral degree holder, doctoral supervisor, was born in February, 1978. He graduated from Xi'an University of Technology with the major of mining engineering in July, 2001, and was recommended as the exemption graduate. He got the master’s degree in July, 2004, and then came to CUMT to teach. In June, 2009, he got the doctoral degree of mining engineering from CUMT and in December, 2009, he was exceptionally promoted to be associate professor. He is mainly engaged in research works on hydraulic fracturing of coal and rock and focuses on scientific issues of the structure reconstruction of coal and rock and gas drifting. The engineering application that he studies on include control of hard roof, weakening of hard top coal, directional transfer of stress, releasing of local concentrated stress, prevention and treatment of rock burst, increasing permeability of gas bearing coal layers, removing outburst of outburst coal seams, geo-stress survey, CBM mining,exploitation of combustible ice,etc, has formed the theories and technique framework of hydraulic fracturing of coal rocks, has studied large-size true tri-axial hydraulic fracturing test platform, and formed development models of “theory → technology → products → technology service”. Moreover, He has published over 50 papers such as Hydraulic Fracturing after Water Pressure Control Blasting for Increased Fracturing, in which 4 papers are included in SCI, 22 in EI, 3 in ISITP; has published 2 monographs, including Theory and Application of Hydraulic Fracturing of Coal Rock. He has got 4 innovation patents and 9 new patents of utility model, and applied for 6 innovation patents. Furthermore, he has presided over the NSFC projects—“ Mechanism Study on The Weakening and Increasing Permeability of Hydraulic Fracturing of Coal Rock ”(51004104) and “Mechanism Study on Coal Rocks Directional Hydraulic-Cutting Fracture”, and 1 “New Century Excellent Talents Program in University supported by Education Ministry” project, etc.
